Jeff Struecker
Author and former U.S. Army Ranger
Jeff enlisted in the US Army at age 18 in 1987 and served for more than 22 years before retiring as a chaplain with the rank of Major. He has been deployed to combat in Panama, Kuwait, Somalia, and many tours of duty in Afghanistan and Iraq. He holds many decorations and recognition for his military service including the Bronze Star Medal with āVā Device for valor. He has attended too many professional military schools to mention and has received many badges to recognize his specialized military training as an Infantryman, a Paratrooper and a Ranger.
Jeff is married to his high school sweetheart Dawn. They have five children: Aaron, Jacob (and wife, Haley), Joseph, Abigail, and Lydia; and one granddaughter. He has a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in North Carolina. He currently serves as the Lead Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Columbus, GA.
